The sacred shrines of the world are living symbols of the waystations of the path that leads to the Divine goal. Murad Hassil in the dunes of Katwijk is one such shrine. In this weekend retreat, we will gather as pilgrims, offering our homage to the Divine light glimmering in the dunes as we advance into the Mystery from which all life has come.\u201d<\/p>\n

He received his Ph.D. in Religion from Duke University. His books include Saracen Chivalry: Counsels on Valor, Generosity, and the Mystical Quest, Mingled Waters: Sufism and the Mystical Unity of Religions, and Dream Flowers: The Collected Works of Noor Inayat Khan. Pir Zia is president of the Inayatiyya and founder of Suluk Academy. He and his family live in Richmond, VA, the United States.<\/p>\n
